A must-attend workshop

Mexico, a corner of natural majesty, is home to treasures in the form of protected areas, both public, private and community-based. These jewels of nature exert a powerful attraction on a steady stream of between 25 and 30 million visitors annually, a figure that surprisingly continues to grow at a dizzying rate of 20% per year. Yet, in the midst of this tourism flourishing, the troubling question arises: What is the impact on the conservation of these natural wonders and how can we manage this growth in a sustainable manner?

Within this pressing context, a workshop is presented that immerses participants in a journey of discovery and solutions, addressing three fundamental pillars for sustainable tourism management in these natural areas of Mexico.

Tourism Market Strategies for Conservation:

This segment of the workshop will immerse you in the fascinating world of marketing strategies applied to conservation. You will explore how innovation in this field can not only ensure the survival of our natural treasures, but also open new horizons for their protection.

Basic Principles of Governance for Preservation:

The second pillar of the workshop will lead you to understand the crucial importance of governance in the preservation of our natural environment. You will discover how to apply these basic principles effectively, with a focus on sustainability.

Data-Driven Leadership:

The third key element of the workshop will take you on a journey of exploration of how information and data can serve as a beacon for sustainable management decisions. You will learn how digital tools and real-time information can revolutionize visitor management in these natural areas.

This workshop is not limited to theoretical knowledge, but gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a practical way in the challenges and opportunities that the conservation of natural areas in Mexico poses. You will experience, reflect, learn and engage in exploring and co-creating innovative ways to finance conservation, systematize the Fundamental Principles for Effective Governance and review technologies for Real-Time data-driven decision making.
